Science Olympiad

This is a science and engineering competition for students from Years 6-9. The students attending have indicated an interest in science and engineering professions. Industry sponsors are heavily involved in the event as students compete in a number of different challenges.

The aim of the Olympiad is to:

• encourage the pursuit of excellence in Science
• promote the career opportunities within the mining industry to students in science/engineering related professions and
• encourage perseverance, teamwork, and school spirit.
