QMEA PROJECTS
RAMIT – Regional Agriculture and Mininng Industry Training Project
The QMEA in partnership with SkillsDMC, Agrifood Skills Australia, Minerals Council of Australia, National Farmers’ Federation, and the Australian Government Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations (DEEWR) is currently running the RAMIT program for the youth of Emerald. The RAMIT (Regional Agriculture and Mining Industry Training) Project is a training opportunity for fifteen participants in the Emerald district aimed at equipping job seekers with the knowledge and skills required to work effectively in the mining and agricultural industries.
