Diploma of Engineering (CAD)

In response to the skills need for drafting across all industry sectors, the QMEA has been working with its counterparts in Manufacturing and Engineering and Building and Construction to develop a Diploma level traineeship in Computer Aided Drafting for students in Year 11. Students will undertake either 5 or 8 units of competency (depending on subject combinations) from the qualification during Year11-12. Ideally the student should commence the qualification under a school-based apprenticeship or traineeship (SAT) arrangement. The qualification should be completed as part of full time employment and /or training.
