Events

QMEA runs both academy wide and regional specific events. These events vary in length from one day like the 4Girls2 Forums or 7-10 days for engineering camps. A feature event is the QMEA Award Breakfast and Events Program which is run every year in March. At the Awards Breakfast, attended by Parliamentary Ministers, industry sponsors, school principals, key teachers, students and other special guests, students attend either a tour of Skills Tech or a selected university. After the Award Breakfast, students attend head office visits with selected industry sponsors.
