Are you considering a career in engineering? Are you looking to pursue a trade?

If so, the QMEA camps are for you!

In conjunction with BMA, Xstrata, Origin, QGC and Santos, the QMEA hosts three annual engineering camps in Dysart, Mount Isa and the Surat region. These camps provide students with the opportunity to work with engineers on real-life projects. On conclusion of the camp the students present their findings / solutions to senior management staff for feedback / consideration. Not only do these camps give students an understanding of a career as an engineer, they also allow students to experience life in a mining community.

In 2012, QMEA will launch its first Trade Camp in Gladstone – watch out for this camp early next year.
