First Trade Camp 2012 – Gladstone

This camp will be open to both students and teachers.

• Students – looking for an apprenticeship in a trade related field or other pathway entry points into the industry i.e. operator, technician
• Teachers – looking to upskill their VET qualifications i.e. Certificate I Engineering and industry currency to not only meet AQTF requirements but most importantly to improve teaching and assessment practices.

The camp will be open to all QMEA schools with a focus on providing opportunities for students attending schools from the Southern Region who do not have as much opportunity to access sponsors’ work sites as schools in other regions/
