The Role of the QMEA Board

• Set overall QMEA strategic framework
• Inform and approve annual QMEA strategic and business plans
• Inform and approve the annual budget for approved business plan
• Monitor QMEA and member schools’ achievements against the business plan and budget
• Bring a range of educational and resource sector expertise to the QMEA
• Manage the QMEA Director’s performance against agreed KPIs
• Establish advisory structures to QMEA
• Inform the Minister for Education and Training on QMEA matters
• Reviewing the performance of the QMEA Director
